- The assessment and treatment recommended and performed by VIP Physio are run in accordance with the governing body's professional guidelines. This may include joint mobilisations, manipulation, manual therapy techniques, soft tissue massage, acupuncture and/or electrotherapy modalities.
- Before the treatment is carried out, a full explanation of the purpose and any risks of that treatment will be provided.
- Good hygiene and infection control measures must be followed as directed by the staff.
- Bulk Billing: VIP Physio offers bulk billing for eligible clients under the following conditions:
- Clients must have a valid Medicare card.
- A current Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan (also known as a Medicare care plan) must be provided by a General Practitioner (GP).
- A valid referral from the GP, including specific allied health services (e.g. physiotherapy), must be received before or at the time of the appointment.
- Only the services specified in the GP referral under the CDM plan are eligible for bulk billing.
- A maximum of 5 Medicare-funded allied health sessions are allowed per calendar year (shared across eligible services).
- Appointments must be attended as scheduled.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or missed appointments may attract a cancellation fee.
- Clients must present their Medicare card and referral at the first appointment.
- If a valid care plan or referral is not provided, standard private fees may apply until documentation is received.
- VIP Physio will process the claim directly with Medicare. No out-of-pocket payment is required for eligible bulk billed services.
- Some services may attract a gap fee, depending on the type or duration of the service provided. Any applicable gap fees will be communicated in advance.
- Services not covered by the Medicare care plan or not listed in the referral will be billed privately.
- Cancellation of appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee is 100% of scheduled fees.
- You are personally liable for the payments of services provided to you. If the treatment is provided under NDIS, Workcover, TAC or any other insurance you are liable until payments are made by the relevant insurance.
- The listing of a person or company on this website does not in any way indicate endorsement by VIP Physio of the products or services provided by the person or company in question.
